The Initial Consult
The initial visit will take about 45 minutes. During this time, you’ll have a physical exam and digital x-rays taken. Your detailed medical history will be compiled and discussed with the doctor. The goal is to exchange information in order to get an understanding of your issue. Once we know what’s really going on, we can correct the problem.
Your doctor will reassure you that you’re in the right place. We’re going to help guide you through this process. Honest and straight-forward, we’ll only recommend the treatment you need, nothing more.
After examining all the information gathered from the visit, we’ll develop your unique care plan. Typically, adjustments are not done on the first visit. Passive therapy, such as muscle stimulation, may be applied as determined by your doctor.
When You Return
On the second visit, your doctor will discuss the report of findings with you. Your x-rays are reviewed as well. A complete explanation is given on what the problem is and the impact on your body. By the end of this visit, four important questions should be answered:
- What do I have?
- Can you help me?
- How long will it take?
- How much will it cost?
After all your questions are answered, the decision to proceed is in your hands.
Payments
Finances are never taken into consideration when your doctor discusses providing you with care. We focus on you and getting you better.
Our finance department will discuss payment arrangements with you after the report of findings session. Insurance will be verified; payment for any remaining balances will be set up at this time.
Once the financial arrangements are complete, treatment can commence.
